First of all, Ramadan mubarak & Eid mubarak in advance :slight_smile:

For the last hmm. . . almost 1 year I have been enjoying reading the threads here
but never posted anything until now. :blush:

Well back to my question:

My question goes to those who are married or engaged.

In which age did you get engaged / married?
And were you done with your studies? - If no, then how far were you to the finish line?

I'm unofficially engaged ( he proposed to me with a ring already, both our families know about us)
We're waiting for his graduation, which is next yr, for a proper engagement ceremony. i still have 3 more years to go for graduation.

unofficially engaged earlier this summer, having an official one in a month or two, at 22 with a year before graduation left (and then the wedding) inshAllah inshAllah. :)

i was 27, when i got engaged, 28 when i was married. we both graduated a while ago!

i was 22 when i got married , finished my last semester after the wedding .

20 nikah
21 wedding
still left wth final project of my bachelors
will do it next year bc i m preg now

I just passed my finals...and graduation is in october.....marriage is kinda on my family's mind but so is a career.....im leaving it all to Allah... :D

I'm unofficially engaged as well and waiting until two years when we've both graduated!

i was 22 when i got unofficially engaged, 25 when i got nikkahfied and will be 26 inshAllah at my rukhsati

Unofficially engaged at 18, married at 20, finished my bachelors at 22, had a baby at 22, now 24 and half way done with medical school. Marriage shouldn't hold you back!!

i was just gonna say that! kudos to you ladies, truly! i was so not mature and ready for marriage at that age although i'm sure my parents would have been over the moon about it :p

official eng in a few months InshAllah (@23)
anddddd real wedding once we are both done med school InshAllah:)

Def have no time to plan anything:( but love that I found this forum - makes things much easier and everyone is so helpful!!!

i Was engaged at 19 and got married at 20. I am half way done with my bachelors.

Although, it is difficult to keep up with study and married life. However, it completely depends on you and your hubby.
