16...un it all started off from my 16th birthday but i only wear eyeshadow somtimes un i alwayz wear eyeliner n mascara
I was wearing eye line now and again when I was 18. Bought my first concealer when I was at Uni and wear makeup now and again mascara, blusher, concealer, dnt really wear foundation.

My mom was against makeup so I started with eyeliner at the age of 17 or 18...after getting married i just used to wear lipstick n eyeliner...coz I never liked foundation ...but nw after 4 yrs of marriage i ve become interested in applying eyeshadows...n i wear very light foundation also..:-)

I fail to understand whats with 5-6 years old girls wearing makeup at weddings. Their natural innocense disappears from the dace.
14-15 should be alright if you can carry it. But most of the beginners fumble in choosing stuff for themselves. Or they use them excessively when they ‘discover’ a component. That makes people think that perhaps age is not right:hmmm:
I began with kajal when i was 15. Then i used to put eyeliner along with that. And eventually i moved to shadows.I Still don’t put foundation a lot, i dont need it.

I started when I was 19! If I have a daughter I will let her start wearing ONLY eyeliner at around 16ish...so she won't turn out to be make-up challenged like myself :S

i wore eyeshadow (frosty blue) and base (ivory white…the lightest color choice available! 
) occasionally (my mom hated it) when I was around 15 or so. sometimes wore lipstick and lipgloss.
got my eyebrows “done” when I was 14 (at mom’s insistence).
got my hair highlighted (and started the vicious color cycle) at 16.
got my nails doen for the first time (acrylic tips…very popular here) at 16-17.
Eye makeup at 19.
Last few months I"ve been pretty barefaced..haven’t used foundation/base in ages, and if i wear makeup its a lil bit of eyeliner and vaseline…
These days pots and pans interest me more than makeup. Yup its official..i’ve become an aunty :hinna:

19/20ish. It became a more everyday thing recently. Around 19ish, I probably wore some sort of a gloss or something, IF that.
I remember I was in university when my sister used to tell me to wear it everyday so that I learn how to put it on.
I think its cute when high schoolers mess up with their makeup…being young is a time to experiment and have fun, know what suits you and doesn’t…
Seeing a 20s/30s year old with bad makeup isn’t so cute :no:

Imagine someone going with two shades darker or lighter foundation, putting day make up at night, night makeup at day, things like that:p

I was 15-16 when I started with eyeliner/kajal (not everyday though). I was 17-18 when I also started using mascara. I think eyeliner & kajal (kohl) should be enough for 16 year old girls to start with. If I look at my cousin (16) who started doing her eyes (mascara and eyeshadow) when she was 14, that made her look quite old. So I wouldnt suggest to start at that age.

I only started wearing foundation and mascara to uni now- at 22. Before that I never wore any makeup at all.
On the weekends and at home- no makeup.

Wore a bit of lipgloss and mascara at around 14/15 but didn't start wearing makeup more regularly till 17/18..

im 18 and still not wearing any makeup except eyeliner.. but im thinking of starting light makeup.. concealer, powder, gloss/stick, mascara.
