How old were you when you got married?

i know makeup and the camera adds years (and pounds :P), but i’ve always wondered how old all these beautiful brides and the handsome grooms are! sometimes they look sooo young and other times i feel like they look older due to all the makeup and heavy jewels and clothing…but nonetheless still look spectacular- as its their special day :).

i’ll start:

both my husband and i were 27 when we got married :).

i was 21 and my husband turned 21 6 days later :)

22 & hubby had turned 28 three weeks before the wedding.

27.5 and hubby was 26. he turned 27 a little over a month after we got married. :)

Well, Its so nice to know that I am not the only one getting married at a young age. (eventhough everyone here make it seems like it)

Inshallah next year I will be getting married and i will be 21 and he will be 26!!

TLucky8 your statement can offend a lot of people here. Its not about how young you get married its about whenever you do you are happy in it.

I sincerely apologize if i offended anyone here. That was not my intention in saying that. :smack:
I actually am talking about people in US(my friends and family) when i mentioned “here”.
:teary1:I guess i was just taking out my frustration of hearing the comment “you are too young to get married” from friends and extended family and honestly felt relieved to see that its not a mistake or something people frown upon.

Again I apologize if I sounded rude! didnt meant to..

anyways i think age is just a number, as long as u r mature and ready for it, then 18 or 38 its all good!
