Yes my friend, we used to talk on arpanet, then telnet, irc and today on vBulletin. such a long road it was. fatimah jinnah, benazir bhutto and the original bhutto were also the founding member.

Dont feel awkward while opening any thread as long as it makes any sense. The member whose post you saw with join date 1967 is Azkar who is the owner of this forum and the man behind this entire setup so ya thankfully he didnt post his join date as 1857 or 732 BC

I think it was Asif, the member, but its pretty awesome that this forum has come so far, ive been on plenty of forums and they have shut down in barely ten years.

It must be a glitch then if its for any member. Yes we have posters from as back as 1999 that atleast i know. So GS was here much before the advent of Social media fronts.

Yeah yeah there's a few oldies from way back then. Back then they used to mail the forum posts to a main center. And replies used to be then mailed out. Then things got digitized. You just don't see the posts from the early 70's because the founders just got a bit lazy and never put up the mailed posts.

Circa 1996, I was loitering dalnet too. But on channel islam. Back then there were mostly malaysians and arabs on there.
