how often should you get facials.
one parlour lady told me every month. is that true. isn<t it too rough on skin to get blackheads extracted out with that tool so often.
i was told the same... but maybe it doesnt need to be such a deep facial?!?
the prices /treatments vary so they may not be so rough on blackheads etc if its done reg?
i dont think i could afford a proper facial every month with everything else! lol..this lady charges £35-40

With all the threading/waxing that women need to get done every bi-weekly or month, I don't think many of us can afford to shell out the money on facials. I have heard that if you don't need it, don't get it. I have so many aunts who have never really gotten any of this stuff done or gone for any major brand treatments/creams, and have the best skin ever. Just basic cleansing, use of moisturizer and sunblock. Even in their 50s, they have the facial skin of a teenager, mA. I use that as my excuse to not waste money on facials.. haha.

Never trust what the parlor ladies say, they just want ur money.
But 2-3 timse a year is reasonable i think

i only got a facial once and it was during my wedding. uhh i looked pretty much the same before and after it, which is hot so i dont think theres any point to facials atleast not for me. 
but they did have bleach mixed in the facial which i liked, but i can bleach myself at home. thank you.
no u dun need to get facials every month..unless ofcourse u have some skin problem its too dry or acne prone then u can have facials specifically designed for ur prob otherwise dun get em too often..i only get facials like once every six months..that too i started like couple of years ago..all my friends get facials regularly n their skin luks the same..i do get face polish after a couple of month tho

I know some people who get them every month,some who get them twice a year and some who have never bothered...
I go once every 6-8 weeks... just cos i like the pampering and luxury and my skin always feel awesome after.... if you don't have any specific skin problem that needs treating, then every couple of months should be fine....
And yes, like Sara said, ofc the parlour lady will say come frequently... she wants your money :)
If u have good skin, just maintain it.. parlours don't do anything that u can't do urself at home.. the key is learning the massage strokes and identifying the right products that's it.
Parlours mix-in harmful bleaches to give u an instant glow..and u swear that this is the facial! No set-rules..however if u suffer from blackheads u may get a "clean-up" done every 3-4 weeks..

i my a skin polish every 2-3 months.
i get a facial every month. i get it done because it feels so nice and i completely relax.
and i get a face massage 2-3 a month for relaxation.
