Depends on how busy I am. There are days when I am relaxed, not much housework, going out, eating out so I have more time to talk to them. So I would call them everyday, or even twice a day. Then there are days when I am very busy like in-laws visiting, parties, I don't get to talk to them much. I don't talk to them for a week or so.

everyday, mom gets upset if she doesn't hear from me daily so even if it's just a call for a minute or two.

I speak to my mom everyday, my dad once a week. They live 15 minutes away so I go over their with my son a couple of times a week.

I don't know if its wierd but I call my mum from uni and work just to find out what she is upto :/ I am a mummy's girl =)

When I was studying abroad I Skyped home every 2-3 days.
My mother HATES talking on the phone. I am not married yet so I'm not sure whether that'll change when I'm out of the house. But something tells me that it won't. But I'm not much of a phone person anyway either. When I'm married, I think I'd rather pop by my parents place once or twice a week and talk and catch up then rather than call my parents everyday and talk about mundane daily things like what they had for dinner, etc.

I used to talk to my mom twice a day when I lived away for work…she woke me up in the morning and made me read raat ki dua on the phone to her before I went to bed.

2/3 times a day including FaceTime and Skype ... We are extremely close , best friends alhamdulillah

When I was working mum would call every other day and ask how things where..dad would send text messages every now and then...
now when I am on maternity leave I call them almost daily as I have more time and I know they expect us to call cuz of so many family issues...

ummm no set routine just whenever they call or i feel like a chat. But it can be a bit difficult keeping up timewise cuz they are five six hours ahead of me. Maybe once a week i guess.
