Re: How often do you pray?
i pray all the time but not namaz...i refuse to offer namaz,i believe * *offering namaz is for my own good, its just the same as my ghissy pitty example....if u study hard for ur quiz u'll do good if not u'll fail. so namaz is for my own good for life after death.....i know i'm going to hell either way....so why bother....
Talking like an Indian! Don't claim yourself to be a true Pakistani again plz. 5 times Namaz is farz and I hope you know atleast this much atleast after chatting with guppies like me.. sad to see people like you. 5 times namaaz should be made law in Pakistan and people shud be punished..
Re: How often do you pray?

Re: How often do you pray?

Re: How often do you pray?
Can't remember when was the last time.
And what is the next question?
Re: How often do you pray?
Peace All
What a dreadful question ... How many times I pray in a day or any of you pray in a day is between one and his/her Lord. We don't have the right to ask that from one another nor should anyone admit to being part-timers.
Muslims should pray 5 times a day .... period. What is this ... kaza you admit to... Sharm aaney chaiee hai.
Those who openly admit their sin are not ashamed of it. It is as far as I know a sin not to pray. Also, to do so on a public forum people are openly giving dawah to fitnah and an excuse for the lazy people not to pray.
And for the one who asks the question and tells of his own position ... Let me ask are we going to judge you? Or are you going to judge us? Then let this thing be known that when Islam requires us to 'encourage the good' we have to censor the bad, people who openly admit their sins should be censored.
Do you all understand this?

Don't bet your booty on it you might be surprised. GOD Almighty is very merciful.
Re: How often do you pray?
It’s not too much to ask. It’s just about making up one’s mind that one has to pray and :insha: everyone who decides to will find a way.
. May Allah also make it easy for you to be regular on your 5 times salaat and may He reward you as well.
I’m hoping that I never go to jahannum. I’ll do my best to stay away from there,:insha: . I’ll do my best to do what I can and then I’ll depend on the mercy of Allah.
I have to agree with ssingh there. Indian/Pakistani has no relevence in this discussion.
Re: How often do you pray?
People should be punished for not praying the way you think they should pray? That is SCARY. ![]()
That’s the kind of crap that made people flee Europe 500 years ago and to think that thought process is still going on today is mind boggling. What business is it of the government or anyone else who prays when? That should be between a man and his God.

Re: How often do you pray?
Let me add some icing on the cake. How would it be if boss asked you to come to office at 5.30 am and pay you around 50 dollars extra or some proportion to the level of job you are in. Thats would make more sense as eyes are covered with dollars.
This also answer’s PA’s question of leaving the company and boss:D
But dear sister, we pray claiming we pray for the sake of Allaah.
But let me cut it down. This is a saying by Hazrath Ali but i cant remember much of it. They are 3 types of people among category of prayers
Now, if you have fallen into the third type Allaah will guide you and INsha Allaah you will succeed, i can relate it because i have gone through a similar phase.
Now secondly missing a prayer should cause fear in your heart, not because you missed but because Allaah is created you and you are best of Allaah’s creation.
Let me end this,
Again, if you have got an answer for the third point then Allaah will provide you the abode which Allaah is promised and Allaah knows the best.
Well this is the verse from the quran, and its a famous one,
Fabi aayi alaah ee rabbikuma thukadibaan.
Whats favours of your lord will you deny.
Re: How often do you pray?
I think the quote is by Hadhrat Husayn... maybe in a shia hadith book... not sure...
Something like
a) Namaaz to get from Allah... like a businessman
b) Namaaz out of fear of Jahannam... like a slave
c) Namaaz out of love of Allah... true servant of Allah
not sure about the accuracy of the statement :s
Still, brothers and sisters we should try and read namaaz as often as is possible for us. And don't give up trying if you miss a couple. If we show our intention to Allah, Insha-Allah Allah will help us fulfil our obligations towards him.
Also brother muali don't lose faith in Allah, Allah let you read the kalimah which is a great favour. Insha-Allah I have full "umeed" that Allah will grant us all Jannat
Re: How often do you pray?
I heard if you do a sin and Allah hasn't made it a public knowledge then don't disclose it. So just try hard lal, its between you and your Creator.

I never considered not praying to be a sin. Is it? Y
you are missing a farz but still not commiting a sin.
Re: How often do you pray?
umm i'd consider it a sin. its ur obligation and u failed qualifies as a sin , no?
Re: How often do you pray?
I just pointed out farz, bhaijaan. Maybe it doesn’t make sense in the western societies but it does in Pakistan’context- being a state fromed on religion. Our identity is religion- the whole naiton was formed on the concept of homeland for the muslims of the subcontinent. My purpose is to see people follow religion peacefully rather than bother others.. People ran from Europe to the US 5 centuries ago? Yeah, there are religious persecution(like quakers and purists etc. who ran to the US when they faced religious persection)- I am not at all hinting at any religious persecution. Kher chhado. menu pata nahin si..

muali papey, tussi har vallay naraaz ho jande o. See my reply to Seminole pra and it'll make sense- if not Islam, what else is identity of Pakistan? Don't you remember, "Pakistan da matlab kiya?".. I am not fond of LAL MASJID fanatics too.. Maulana Abdul Rashid Ghazi talks like a bewakoof at times..
