my baby is 11 weeks old and exclusively BF. is it normal for her to wake up every 2-3 hours at night to feed?? everyone is telling me she is probably not getting enough millk so she wakes up but she is gaining weight pretty well. pediatrician said i can try giving her formula at night but its best to just breastfeed on demand but im truly exhausted from waking up every few hours for the last 10 weeks. does it get better for breastfed babies at some point?

Yup my baby used to wake up every 2-3 he was EBF till 6 months, now I am using formula for school. It gets better when they start eating solids.
Another thing you can do is express some milk and add oatmeal to it.

Baby is only 10 weeks. Please don't add any solids to her diet. Use formula if you must. Breast milk or formula only for baby under 17 weeks. Solids are contra indicated before 17 weeks.

Babies eat every 2-3 hours round the clock. It's the favorite thing for desis to say, that baby is not getting enough milk. It's not true. If baby has at least 5-6 wet diapers a day, baby is getting enough. Weight gain of course is a better indication. Infact it is recommended to wake baby up to feed him/ her. Once baby is 12 lbs she can sleep upto a 6 hour stretch at night. So it does get better. Some babies keep waking up for the comfort of breast feeding anyway. IA it should get better, if not there are sleep strategies but don't put cereal in a bottle. It's not recommended.

too much demands , i hv sore teats in right breast, and feelng a pain in it. whn i bend down , then again i feel a instint pain in it. Is it normal?

^ you need to a see a lactaction consultant right away and learn proper latch and positioning. it could turn into an infection which would mean lots more pain.
feed the baby on demand and don't worry about supplementing or people saying its not enough- babies tummies are as big as their fist. it doesn't take much for them to fill up and breast milk is easily digested so they get hungrier often. it's all part of the deal.

Yeeesss it great . Its mashaallah perfect 2 to 3 hours.. I say u r lucky. I had to do every 30 mi utes too. So....
