yes, when I'm really distracted/busy/tired/upset ... I withdraw into myself and that quickly brings on "whats wrong ...U arnt kissing/hugging/talking to me today"

Me and him are very affectionate and we have our moments when we’re feeling “meh” but for the most part that is rare and we both are extremely affectionate, especially him. I love it! It makes me feel all lovey-dovey and fall in love all over again (corny, I know, but it’s true) :wub:

I do it all the time but don’t let him express himself too much because I’m very shy even after being married to him for 9 years.

Whenever he starts to look at me with love in his eyes I tell him to stop it coz I can’t take it. :hayaa:

And when I ask him why is he looking at me and he replies, “you’re beautiful”… I start to lose my breath.

So I don’t let him express himself often. :cb:

im def more expressive than he is. he is too, but im wayy more. and when i back off sometimes, then he says kyaaa hua, how come u aint hugging/talking/etc to me.....

actions speak louder than words. the “love you, luv you…” stuff means nothing, hollow verbal words of affection is all that is. i’d rather show what i feel and i’m pretty sure it would be seen how i feel when he looks into my eyes. all those actions would only be allowed after marriage though…in most cultures. snap

although going by how hareem’s marriage seems so successful, i’m guessing when the woman is more on the shy side and doesn’t express herself much but the man can still see how she feels, it ends up being better? :hmmm: just so the respect for her is still in tact.

way more than probably I should! I just cant keep anythin to myself and when and if I try, he figures it out right away!!

him.. not so much but its okay, I make up for it by nagging him if he seems upset. :D

ps: we are not very lovey dovey though so that part of the expressing doesnt happen but there are so many things he does that he doesnt need to say a word.. i would rather have him rub my massage in the mdidle of the night during pregnancy wihhout even asking for it than giving me a good nite kiss.. practical love is more appreciated :D

Well , for me its mostly a random , thank you .. and when he asks “what for” .. I just say " for everything "

and I hope i dont freak you guys out when i tell you , I almost say this thankyou every day or atleast every alternate day :smack:

“Thank you” is an expression that to me expresses it all along with a dua for a long healthy life for him ..

I'm the same in that i cant hide being expressive around him, im definetly more expressive, but we are equally affectionate, not too much, and not too little.
