Lajjo and ashtray, you guys didnt read the fine print. I said 'provided that person intends to pick up that habit soon'.
Nobody is perfect and we might not have all the required habits of being a muslim right now (due to our different upbringings) but that doesnt necessarily make us a bad person.
Some people dont pray and they dont give a whack about it. Other people dont pray but subconsciously they feel guilty and they know they have to start praying sooner or later. I think it is easy to tell which ones would be more religious.
Lajawab by your theory i can take all your arguments and throw them in the garbage bin if (for example's sake) you have ever in your life paid even 1 cent of interest on a credit card. Because interest is haraam and obviously someone who has done so, what position is he in to even raise a single issue regarding Islam?? (sorry for veering off topic).
