do mods get paid and who do you think is going to be the next mod? are there any physics in here

Just like any real job, there are different salaries. Mods start from 500/week. The more senior you are, the more you make. Some senior mods make as much as 1500/week. It also depends on how busy your forum is. For examples, cafe mods make a little bit more than S & P or C & A etc. Or in my case, my salary for moderating Audio and Video gallary is less than Cafe because there isn't as much traffic and work :)

You are close. The figures are a little bit higher than this. He's an Admin and he makes more than us. Even though admins don't really moderate any forums and mods are the ones who have to clean up the mess people make, Admins still get paid more just because they are admins. It's just like our bosses at work get paid more even though they are dumb and don't know how to print or how to fill paper in a printer and employees are the ones who actually do the work . :)
