£145.60 for 4 days of work

that was my first ever job 2 years ago and i was damn proud. At the time i was all jumping about and like wooooo now i look back i realise they took me for a ride =( uh stupid pplz!

It was without taxes. I worked at a bookstore. At the end of the week I earned $60. :hinna:

That was many years ago, my first job as a student when I arrived in the US. That used to be the minimum rate those days…now it’s double eh? Then in a few months I got a $8 per hour job and I was the talk of the town …Eventually I moved on

jokes apart, there was a time when politicians in canada talked about paying the stay-home moms for their services. it had soem support but fiscal restraints killed the idea :(**

My first paycheck was a whopping ~$495 for two weeks. DVD Players had just come out back then, and i was the first on my block to own one :roman:. And i had enough money left for junk food

Now, I don’t even have the blu-ray player, and everyone i know does. :hinna:
