It’s easy to figure out that there are 39 grams of sugar in a standard can of Coke…but seeing what it looks like in stacked up in sugar cubes has a different impact altogether.
yeah....seeing this sort of stuff makes me feel really glad that I didn't get my kid hooked on juices.
I know of kids that have a juice box or two every single day.
I still remember by doctor telling me that water was better than juice for my baby and if I really wanted to give her juice then to dilute it 50% with water. I figured why bother and just gave her water.
anyway......I know that I will never win the fight to remove soda completely from my home due to hubby but thankfully the kid will not touch it at all.
:( I really wish I could drink all those fancy coffee drinks or juices, I get so sick fo water/diet soda.
I've had fresh squeezed juice from restaurants/cafes (not sure how "fresh" it really is but it doesnt' taste as sweet as boxed/bottled juice and doesn't make me feel the way regular juice would) but I dont know how "safe" that is either. :-/
