When i make chicken pulao, using a medium sized chicken, and 4 cups rice, i either add too much or too little salt. How much salt should i use? Any advice please:)

well my sis told me to use 1/2-3/4 tsp of salt per cup and another 1/2 tsp fr the yakhni and that is what i have been using and the salt is never too little or too much.

I always do the taste test after adding rice.

I use glasses to measure the rice, if I am using 2 glasses rice plus meat then I add 3 heaped tsp.
