i remember starting with
CHAAR - AANEY
then lately it was increased to
1 RUPIA
and when i was in my 8/9th grade it was increased to 5Rs 
… After eating lunch, I still used to save a Rupee or two from those. Soda was used to be Rs2 per bottle then …good old days .. not far ..just late 80s
