^ same! I I only learned about the +$1 thing when I moved to the US because we don’t have 1 dollar bills in Canada lol. I got a lot of plus ones, thought it was a cute gesture.

we should petition the government to bring back the ONE dollar bill for this very purpose.

btw, my bro gave me an uncut sheet of $1 and $2 bills as a gift the day i received my PhD degree.

i use this one dollar bill [which is an antique item now] whenever i gift money on someone’s wedding or muNh dikhaaii.
