on any airline, im looking for an airline that allowed the most luggage allowance cos my lovelyyyyyyy thoughtful husband has bought a nintendo wii that weighs a ton…and god knows how heavy it is…and thats just one item..toooo many thingsssssssssssssss…so trying to find the most allowable luggage…are infants allowed luggage? isnt their ticket almost free?
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
They are allowed one checked bag weighing not more than 10 kg (22 lbs), a carry-on (for diapers and food, etc) and a stroller.... this is for Emirates, Qatar and Turkish airlines flights from USA to Pakistan.
A Wii weighs about 7.5 lbs (I know cuz I took one for my brother two years ago). Make sure you pack it carefully with a lot of clothes around it for cushioning, wouldn't want it to break.

so thats 10kg, plus a changing bag inc nappies and food for them,,,so this isnt part of the hand luggage?
is the stroller/pram carried in hand free of charge and not inc in the luggage allowance?
we have the wii, plus some sports board thingy and some accessory pack...i havent opened the box yet i weighed it as soon as i got home with box etc all on and its around 10kg...im hoping half of its the packaging....
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
i flew with Emirates, Etihaad and PIA and they allow a check-in bag for infant too.
The check-in bag is separate from the diaper bag and your personal hand carry.
stroller and car seat is separate and is not included in the luggage i.e. it is allowed along with the infant's check in bag.
Sometimes a couple of extra lbs are ignored by the airline while chcking in the bags but once this guy at the counter asked me to make my luggage exactly 50 lbs or I had to pay $50
You can also try to see if sending boxes through postal services is an option and not extremely expensive.
I know some couples who moved to India transported all of their furniture and stuff via containers. If you have lots of stuff in god condition that may make sense too instead of buying everything again in Pakistan.
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
i’m assuming they’re allowed full luggage at least PIA does cz whenever I go to the airport i see those family of 4 (2 lil babies) with 50082134729843 pieces of luggage ![]()
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
pia allow 1 suitcace,,,,,,,,,,pia ki kia bat hai marzi ho to baghair weight kiay luggae lah jaty hain
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
The stroller is allowed separate of the luggage allowance. I have taken it many times with me.
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
Hey are u sure that's the case for PIA still? ^
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
Wouldn't it just be smarter, infinitely smarter, to call your airline or go to their website? Yahaan you'll get 12 different answers and they will all be wrong.
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
erm quick question do the airlines allow the stroller and the car seat into the plane or do we have to book them ..
Booking them means heavy chances of them getting damaged !
Re: How much luggage allowance is an infant allowed?
stroller no airline allows onboard anymore... leave it at the gate.. and yes... buy something cheap for travel purposes.. i have 2 .. the expensive one for everyday use.. and a cheap one i picked up from mothercare for travel.
car seat most airlines allow now.. on board. no damage there.
