what a crude method to calculate the worth of a website using backlinks. So if you drop the "www" host from the URL, the value might change.
The industry rule of thumb to calculate the value of a website is:
$38 x number of unique monthly visitors to the site, because it "sort of" takes the frequency of visits and stickiness of site into account.
