Suppose you’re visiting your inlaws wearing a designer lawn suit (for the first time in your life)…they ask you (including your FIL), “how much is this?” and because you’re fasting you can’t lie so you tell them the original price and after hearing the price your inlaws pass out. Then they show off their shopping skills boasting about their new 5 Indian blingy glitzy 90’s fashion suits they bought in that 1 lawn suit’s price.

What do you do in such situations? Do you carry on lying regardless of the roza?

well, in such case, you just tell them the truth and let them give you all advices they would like. As long as you and your husband are on the same page, you shouldn’t be bothered because such is life you will hear a lot of people saying bad about you. At the end of the day, it’s your life and whatever you get has your husband’s agreement in it. Should not be anybody’s problem.
