I have a cousin who is getting married in 3 months and I am going to Pakistan next week. She wants to get a mehndi jora made as her wedding dress is already done by susraal. Below is a pic of a dress she fell in love with but with all the kharchey already made (downpayment on hall, jewelery, jehez clothes, juttay,etc) her budget is just about done. Bechari! She wants the dress as is below but her mom cannot afford it. (her father passed away many years ago) How much would the dress cost below? What can be taken out to make it cost less and what kapra should be used to make it cheaper? I want to help her badly but I am no good in this kapray ke mamlaat. I would buy it myself for her as a gift but I already got her a wedding gift and plus I won’t be able to buy it for her after getting joray made for myself which I have not done in over six years. Thanks for any mushwara in this matter.
ZK, are you serious? Itna sasta? Why? What cloth should I use? Can I still keep the same level of kaam or would I have to get rid of some of it? I am also deleting this thread by tomorrow because I don't want my cousin finding it.
By the way her budget for a mehndi dress is around $40 but if she really has to she can spend $45 although her mom wants to keep it as low as possible. Her mother spent so much already and my mom even helped by paying for her wedding shoes which was sweet of her but still she cannot spend much more. These days the economy is bad in America and well a lot of other places. Her mom had saved up some $$ for the wedding but went slightly over budget as she had no clue how much prices in PAK have been raised.

$40 would be around 36k, rite? That’s a fair amount of money and i would suggest she pick something from one of the designer stores here instead of going for the dress in the pic as its not really worthy of being a mehndi dress .
No 3000. She has liked this dress for quite some time and wants only this. She is not a designer type of girl. She is very saada. But her wedding dress is very nice. This is not bad either but if she wants it then I cant change her mind unless you have other pictures to suggest. Thanks for the help by the way.

so yah you should be able to get it done in 7k n less if you get a cheaper darzi and kaam wala. from the pic, i dnt think the kaam's quality is very good hence this is what i have estimated. bt even if i m off, it still shudnt cost more than 10k.
No more than 6k if your buying from some boutique, if making it yourself it would be even less costly. maybe 4k .. My friend recently bought her engagement dress(ready to wear) from pindi city center which had 3 times more work than this one and the fabric was fabulous for 6900 Rs
