does ur husband help u in domestic chores, i know alot of women help their husbands anyway, ive seen people literally applaud and bow down to men that also help their wives…our silly culture or what.
on a religious note- did the prophet saw help out his wives, i have read he did. but many people say there were things he didnt do too, im not sure whats right or wrong. any references.
what i have seen is todays generation is that men do tend to help out, its our mothers, and their mothers, who seem to have a heart attack every time they see their sons in the kitchen…
Sometimes my husband does, when I'm working, he will do the dishes and cook for himself when I can't....He also takes out the trash frequently. Otherwise when i'm not working the responsibility falls on me (aside from the trash taking which he does regularly without me having to ask) to do most of the chores...which I don't mind. but I know if I ask him nicely he will do the dishes from time to time bc that's the only chore I hate.
My husband has washed the dishes when i was pregnent, and we lived alone. he used to vaccum and cook a few times when i ws expecting. however we were alone then.
now we live with inlaws, and his mum would kill him and me, if she saw him as much as lift his own aas to pick up his own damn plate.
My hubby vacuums, helps with the laundry, cleans the bathrooms...but rarely lends a hand in the kitchen...and I like it that way (he tried to load the dishwasher the other day and I had to go back and rearrange everthing properly, so it's best that he just stay out of it)!! We both work full time outside the house, so it's 50/50 when it comes to ghar kay kaam....when I was not working and at home with the babies, he still helped out alot....
My Hubby helps me out with everything mashallah bless him...when i start cleaning up..he just helps and if i tell him not to he says no this way we do it quicker...bless him...
Mashallah I am also blessed that my husband helps me out in almost everything........
He washes up almost everyday whilst I see to something else for example like making the lunches etc.
He vacums the house, cleans the bathroom.........not saying its upto a womans standard but his help is most welcome as it takes pressure off me
He also helps in the kitchen.....like I cook for the week ahead at the weekends as I work full time, and he washes the gosht chicken etc for me, he takes the rubbish out from all the bins in the house (except the bathroom - he says he can't do that one!!)
He has even cooked when I haven't been able to........
See at first he was worried whe his mum was coming over the first time - he was like 'If I don't wash up when mum is here then it's because I'm not sure how she will take it' etc.
But she ended up being fine..in between telling him he should just go rest!!!

the other friend asked " For you take a bath ?"
He says " No for me to do the dishes otherwise I would have to use cold water to wash those dirty dishes in this cold weather."
yes, alhamdulillah he is generally very considerate towards helping out and uses his own initiative. I mean, i'm not his mother and I don't need to teach him to pick up after himself. luckily he is ocd clean freak too so always likes everything tidy...I have never told him to clean or help me...his mom taught him well.
I am extremely lucky im not married to a lazy slob who thinks it's beneath him or a woman's job to pick up after himself...
In this day and age where both man and wife work, I don't think it's fair for a woman to work all day and then have to do everything at home as well while the man does nothing. They are both equally tired from their day jobs, so why should one be able to laze around and the other have to solely do all the house chores?..
Both hubby and I work full-time and on his one day off in the week (when I am at work) he will make the aandii and do the grcoery shopping. He likes it that way as he feels he's done something productive that day and it means we get to spend some quality time together after I get home from work cus I'm not busy cooking in the kitchen.
It's a win-win situation and I don't see why more men don't help out!!
