I just want to know the min. and max. people spend on their wedding. I know there are a lot of variables but I don’t need an exact figure. How much should I have saved for a 100 person wedding.
Re: How much does a typical wedding cost in the United States?
I've been to weddings that cost $5000....and I've been to wedding that cost almost $250,000. It all depends on the venue, the type of decor, food etc. For example: a wedding at a local barely known hall will be MUCH cheaper compared to having it at a hotel like Intercontinental. But then again, Intercontinental will be much cheaper compared to Ritz Carlton.
In my opinion, it's best to have a budget to start with....decide how much money you can and are willing to spend....and plan your wedding around that budget.
Re: How much does a typical wedding cost in the United States?
It will depend if you are a bride or groom . First tell us if you are going to be a bride or a groom.
For a groom a modest shadi will cost 5000 dollars and for a bride it will be 10000 dollars.
Re: How much does a typical wedding cost in the United States?
My actual wedding day is costing us about $10,000 (venue+food) this doesn't include mehndi, gifts, money spent on my clothes/jewls or anything else, so all that add's up too
