i second what hum hein lajawab said,
sometimes excess and overspending happens because we buy multiples of the same items.
one or two regularly worn shades for instance are fine, rather than buying gift packs with shades that one may never use. such duplicity should be avoided as when not used within a certain time, cosmetics can go bad.

i cant give an exact figure, but i kno d amount i spend on cosmetics would run in thousands of pounds as i work as a beautician so often buying new products to test/try them and also have to maintain stock levels...

Hmm...that's tuff, never thought about it.
If u add perfumes and skincare products or the lotions and foot scrubs that I wud get from Bath and body works and their specialty soaps or if ur talking about VS-chocolate body lotion- It can prolly go around $250 a month, and that would be around $3000 but that not purely makeup.
I REALLY need that stuff!!

not too much, I usually don't buy the most expensive foundation or pressed powder, it's mostly the ones that are mediumly expensive. The most expensive thing I bought was maybelline forever lipcolor.
I bought face lotion and undereye cream outside of the america which ended up being a lot less money.

hmm I think i spend 30-50 dollars per month...... but its soo true.. i never use half the products i buy... except my mascara.. which i love dearly.. and my eyeliner.. hehe
I wishh i didnt need to spend that much money and had perfect skin to begin with.... muaha... but its ok.. ALhumdulillah!
