A scanner, webcam and a video camera?

take a trip to that Hafeez Center and ask around.. i can give you US prices but it would be no help so i won't.

Budget batao so we can recommend something..

For scanners go for Epson or Canon. Webcams are quite cheap .. just see the frames/second capabilities and video camera is a larger discussion based on what kind of recording media you'd prefer.. like Hi-8 etc..

I have like RS 20,000 saved from loads of stuff :smiley: ji 20,000 for a berozgar are too many so no one dare make fun :mad: Anyways I donā€™t wanna buy all three just want to know the prices and then depending on the need want to buy the one which is most useful.

Yea will have to go to hafeez center but was looking for some advise. My sister told me that scanner is for RS 2500, which am actually not ready to believe :bummer:

well $50 buys you a cute lil flatbed here so i don't think Rs. 3000 for a scanner is unreal..

Check out Canon CanoScan LiDE20 or Epson Perfection 1260 or other Perfection models in your price range.

Scanner...Genius/Canon both are good. You can get either of them..good flatbad ones for Rs. 2500 or thereabout.

Webcam/Digicam: You can get Creative's webcam/digicam (it doubles as a decent digicam) for Rs. 10,000 or less.

I am not sure what do you mean by video camera. Do you mean something like Sony Handycam..woh to kaafi mehenge hote hain...either Sony or Panasonic, a decent one with 40+x optical zoom and LCD display plus other standard features may cost you anywhere between Rs. 40-50,000

10,000 for webcam?? :eek: holy palak pakoray!! You can get a cheap one for 30-40 bucks here (around 2000 Rs). Why dont you ask someone in angreziland to send you one?

Khanu I did expect the video one to be expensive so its out of question for now. Webcam I donā€™t think I need right now, donā€™t wanna show my thobra to anyone :smiley: So scanner it is.

Cheee: Yea my sister also told me that the webcam is for RS 1500, I didnā€™t believe that either :bummer: Yea I can ask my khala to bring me one but then she wonā€™t take those 30, 40 bucks either, which is good but iā€™ll feel bad :smiley:

Please let me know about the price for a decent Webcam in Lahore (most probably Hafeez Centre). I donĀ“t think, it would be anywhere near Rs. 10,000, but I would guess it to be around 3,000.

BTC's webcam is for RS 1200/-
and
Q-tech is RS 1450/-

Q-tech they say is better.

As for scanners the guy said that Canon and Epson scanners are not available, as they don't come. Anyone heard of a comapny called ** Beng ** ? Is it any good?

I agree!
Plus for web/video camera check out the Mustek DV3000. It does stills, video and can double as a webcam, i have one and just love it.

Mustek and Visioneer are cheaper and ā€œfineā€ scanners. As long as you donā€™t scan yer books and 10000 pics, you should be okay :slight_smile:
