I dont know if its the political views that effects my relationship with my hubby or is it the 24 hour interest in politics.......we have subscribed to all paki channels, he wtaches the same news over and over on different channels , checks all the news pprs online and then spends hundreds of dollars calling his frnds in pak to discuss the political situation.

I have learned to look past those differences. It doesn't bother me anymore if someone doesn't share the same views whether it's politics, life, religion, career, etc etc. As long as he/she isn't making it really hard for me to avoid such topics or harming anybody, I really don't care.

before deciding and giving verdict what kind a political views you want in your spouse, think about it does political views stay forever unchanged? Nope they are not, they change by the time.
tearing up your post i can predict you are looking for some kind a war hater, personality and moderate kind a person, you probably looking for something kind a Imran or Musharraf follower.

I think there are way more important things to worry about.To me,what political views others have do not really matter.But then my husband is also not a die hard fan of politics,though he is always up to date with current affairs and such.Works for me..!!

I am not into politics at all. So, it wouldn't matter to me if they are. Now, I'd likely have an issue if they took an extremely conservative approach to life. I would have an issue if they can't take me disagreeing with them.

Then be wary of men who like Qadri, Zia-ul-Haq and possibly Amir Liaquat. Esp. the first 2.

Religious extremist and MQM, there is no way I could afford even socialize with them. I have dumped someone who otherwise very nice person on MQM ground, and my relationship with a cousin who was my childhood friend also gone when he become religious extremist.
