Ok i have alwayz wondered about this…i think they dont get paid much but maybe i m wrong…so any idea guys how much reema, shaan, meera, resham, abid ali, etc etc get paid…

I don't think they are as highly paid as actors in the west...hollywood for instance.

Wanna know is US$ or Italian Liras...because Pak rupee converted to Italian Lira will have 000,000,000 number figure on Rs.10,000/-
- Reema...is taking Rs.400,000 per month for her GEO show. In movies...its around 500k to 700k
- Shaan seeks One Million but gets much less. No one has considered him fot TV dramas....due to his thick headedness. He charged a staggering amount of Rs.2 Million for MOBILINK bng.*
- Resham charges Rs.400k for TV serials..but her pricing is jumping up..due to her recent successes.
- ***Abid Ali is not an expensive one. 300k for a serial would do.....
The most expensive ones are Imaan Ali, Saadia Imam, Humayun Saeed, Adnan Sid, Faisal Qureshi...etc all going above 1 million for a 13 episode serial...and 450k for a long play.***

^ woho tx for letting us know the details...thats not much compared 2 what even the bollywood stars get...hmm as for shaan i think he deserved what he got for mobilink...he has that personality n charisma that attracts people so he rightly charges that much infact if he was in bollywood he wud be able 2 get alot more...as for his thick headness now dat i cant comment on cuz i dun know him or havent interacted with him but he does come across as some1 who doesnt mingle much with people...

Considering what you make in other fields, where do these salaries stand? I mean, comparing against bollywood is really unfair, especially when India is so much bigger in size, and so much more open to entertainment and their industry is now going international. And you're comparing TV Pakistani salaries to Indian movie salaries. You just can't compare TV with FILM - separate economics.
However, as a working individual in Pakistan, can you list what salaries per year a doctor would have, a lawyer, a teacher, a university professor, an engineer, etc. I mean, I am trying to figure out whether these incomes allow these stars to live comfortably or if it allows them to live lavishly given Pakistan's economy. I don't even know how many ruppees it takes to buy a plane ticket to Dubai, for example, and whether that's easy for these guys to afford.

Sahar Bibi.....the Pakistani showbiz personalities on talent fee....have registered a three fold increase since the early y2k....and having said that....the increase continues due to gradual increase in TV channels and the productions....private productions that is---because PTV has still far to go to match the talent fee demanded by a large majority of artiste.. but essentially in category "A"......as the commercialism impact also plays a vital role here!
All in all....a certain degree of respect on talent fee has been observed and experienced---I should say so here.
Meanwhile...the release of the agreed talent fee...even in tranche' is thought a problem being faced by even top-rated TV stars...that I know of....and the very reason that at my professional level...I have made certain recommendations at my institution to delist the SHOWBIZ class from the ADVERSE target/market they have been subjected to on CONSUMER products like; Credit Cards, Autloans, Mortagages and Personal Loans. I hope there'll be a resolve soon...BUT then again...at my institution...there have been quite number of TV Artiste who were obliged with availment of such products at my behest.
Finally...a Pakistani Showbiz artiste who could not afford a car, house and certain items our society defines as luxury... are NOW in position to afford that besides vacations overseas...at their own expense! which is an example of their being blessed...with what they were deprived in yesteryears....
AND
By the way....my talent fee for my first ever PTV play was Rs.25/- the UBL cheque of which still lies with me in my file....containing over 300 copies of contract forms on plays and serials done till last years.
