While comparing my bill summary to my sister’s, I realized I use my phone quite a lot. However, I feel guppies here must be miles ahead of me when it comes to using/maxing out their cell phone.
Here’s the summary of my cell phone usage last month:
I used 521 minutes, received 260 text messages, sent 103 messages, sent another 20 international messages. In total, there were 198 (incoming/outgoing) calls and 383 text messages sent and received.

i’ve paid $150 / month with bell, they rip u off! thanks to fido’ plan know my bill is never above $55.00 
all incoming text msgs, calls, pic msgs etc free!

suroor, what's your plan like with Fido?
The one that I've got with Rogers so far offers me:
150 weekday mins, unlimited evenings and weekends starting at 6pm, either 150-200 text message per month, caller id, and I'm thinking of getting answering machine as well.
My bill usually hovers between $65-$95/mnth.

city fido is best if u want flat rates.. not sure if u CAN get city fido any more.. 45 flat..

i use $ 25.oo /month. unlimited incoming calls, sms ( local or international). 1000 min weeknights , weekends and 100mins week days.
the only reason my bill hikes up is because of the outgoing international sms ( which is about .20cents / msg). n then i pay $6 more for voice mail. i didnt get caller id which is additional $4 i think.

suroor, even if I switch over to Fido, I feel my bill will exceed $60 because I do send a lot of text messages and I do use my phone a lot in the evening and on weekends as well.

sara, hook up your number to MSN Messenger and you'll receive a lot more txts than I ever would.

I have 200 free mins every month…but last month I didnt use them all…in fact I mustve used less than half.
Id rather talk face-to-face than over the phone..

sms is free if its between fido customers and 10 cents if u r sending sms to other wireless providers. its still not bad if ur incoming msgs are ALL FREE!

suroor, behn ji I get 2,000 incoming text messages free. Any additional text message costs me 10 cents and international cost me around 25 cents. Plus, I somehow got Rogers to give me caller id free.
I should also be getting something from Rogers for free advertising. :p
Shumz, friends tell me Fido and Telus are better.
