How much b-milk is enough?

My baby is now 1 month. As i have heard n read baby should be feeding 20 mins on each side but my baby is like 5-7 mins only on one side and within that time she knocks out. I try yo wake her up. If not i let her sleep without a burp. If i manage to wake her i offer her again but she reacts as if she will vomit so i take it as she is full n doesnt require more. But as she is growing her timings are not increasing. Also she was 3.2 kg at birth and 3.9 kg at exact 1 month.
Is all this going fine or i need to consult help??

Re: How much b-milk is enough?

Try to at least get over 10 minutes on the first side. The hindmilk contains more fat and having a sufficient amount of it is important for nutrition. 20 minutes on each side is ideal, but she may be too little for that right now.

There’s no way really to know how much is enough BM. But if the baby seems hungry frequently, feeds more frequently, your body will respond by increasing your supply.

Yes i produce now hell more than she needs like when i completely pump (empty breasts for that hind milk) and give her its very rare that she takes 2 oz usually its 1, 1.5 oz and i produce 5 oz.
I have tried everything but the max time is 7 mins that she remains on only one side.
I also want advise to lower down my production

I am now trying to put her on 2 hrs routein at day time its fine but at night it comes to every hour nursing which is so frustrating.
