Hello everyone,
Me and my husband are blessed with a 11 month old baby girl however, we are a little unsure to how much age difference is appropriate? He would like to have another one by the time Iman is 2 and half to three years old? Is this a good age difference? Any recommendations would be great help!

This is dependent on your lifestyles and your reasons for wanting another one...some people choose to have one after ther other as a method of 'getting it out of the way' for want of a better word. However it is very tough...i know becuase my two are two years apart and i struggleed. in a nutshell consider the following:
- points to having kids close together
children develop a close bond
they start school etc at around same time.
if you are only going to have two...then it makes life 'simpler'
Never bored...they keep you on your toes!!
points to consider:
qualiity time you are able to give to both children
sometimes not appreciating their childhood...as time flies when all you think about is feeding them, sleeps, and nappies...although this does improve as they get older
the social aspect of going out e.g if one child is ill and the other one wants t go out
Its damn tiring!!!!
the above is points to consider... and by no means exhaustive. But if Allah wills then......My second one was a 'happy accident' and there's two years between them.. and i was just plain tired but i wouldn't change it for the world cos my tow boys are really one of the best things that happened to me!!!!

I had mine 20 months apart. I temporarly lost my sanity but they are so close to each other and I love that.
