I do not want to know the future. I want to live life with all its uncertainties , that makes it much more interesting and challenging.

M related to financial markets so even if i could know wats gona happen in next 5 minutes, i would be able to make BILLIONS lol but thats impossible and i have to do shuker on the resources i have now alhumdulilah.

That miracle has a big paradox attached to that. What if I see that I got into a car accident and based on that future knowledge, I decided not to leave my house at all....

in that case the future that I saw will never happen, which means that I should immediately see another future of myself sitting on my couch drinking coffee cause I decided to stay home ...

so for most of the part, instead of future impacting us, we would be impacting future ...

For the more elaborated answer, I agree with what Mirch and TLK said. On my added bit, I for one believe living in the moment. Present is everything. What moment one is coming from, or what is to happen … I’m glad I don’t know it :cheegum:

I guess it could help is some ways like Ecoshan said.

However, one of the things we pray for is the unknown right? We pray to Allah swt because we dont know what will happen to us in the future. Our entire belief is based on the future and making it into Jannat. If you know what will happen the next hour, you will also know what will happen the following hour at some point. That being said, why would anyone pray? It would be a very sad existance in my eyes because we have nothing to hope for.

Or am I just being melodramatic this morning because I hate my boss and I have to go to work? :)

Your reply makes a lot of sense, however if "future" is destiny and not just a "possibility", it will reshape itself, an accident in the car is an approach to a destiny, which may very well be met while quaffing a drink.
Tell me when you meet your destiny, is future impacting you or you impacting the future?
