How media influences us...

This is a quote from some lady who is a writer and broadcaster and how she views Muslims…(Link below)

I was listening to NPR when I heard this story about a marine who saved a dog…

Now, this guy was featured in Reader’s Digest, Newsweek, Times, CBS news, MSNBC, FOX and a host of other shows…

http://www.rd.com/content/a-marine-saves-a-dog-from-baghdad/

Now, after you have clicked on the link, I want you to read it and build an image of how you’d perceive marines to be…

Now, before you read anymore and see the clips I provided, doesn’t it give you an idea that all US forces are kind and caring at heart? If they can love an animal so much, how much love they would have for human beings? Since it was in so many mainstream news outlets, everyone who looks at would have the feeling that every US soldier is just as caring as this guy?

But what does the media not show you? What does the media hide? Do you think Abu Ghraib is a huge and one time incident? And that incidents like Abu Ghraib don;t happen all over Iraq?

Now thanks to alternate methods of reporting and seeing, we get to see behind the pictures…

Random drive by shootings for sport…

Shooting strays out of boredom…

Sniping dogs for sport…

Injuring animals and then having fun with them…

Pushing animals in lion dens for fun…

Great men and women in uniform…Right…

There are a lot of such clips, but this will suffice to get the point across…

There is actually a website where US soldiers get porn sent to them in exchange for pictures of dead and dying Iraqis…

This same technique is applied to Muslims…However, it is reversed…The worst of the worst is shown and blown our of proportions which gives a lousy image of Muslims and Muslims who are mostly ill informed, simple minded and prone to propaganda, fall for it hook, line and sinker…

Some would even go so far as to say that by posting all of this, I hate the USA…

So the next time you see a US or UK soldier hugging an Iraqi, try to imagine how many he must have killed about whom we don’t know…

Re: How media influences us...

Hmmm...I need to work on jazzing up my thread titles a little bit...

Just wanted to point out how media has influenced the Muslims...Especially those who pride themselves on being called moderates...

Imagine a scenario in which a mod-Muslim comes across a homosexual with his partner and a man with two or three wives with his wives, what do you think his reaction will be seeing them on an individual basis?

Burchill draws the line at veiled white Muslims, however: “When I see a dumb, white ***** convert wearing Islamic dress, I feel massive revulsion and contempt, as they have actually chosen enslavement.”

Self-hating ones are pretty stupid.

I'm sure Hyperactive prefers to see Asiya Andrabi and her fanatical burka idiots continue to throw acid on the faces of women who do not cover themselves.

Re: How media influences us...

Western media is a propoganda machine, the war against Iraq is illegal etc. I admit all that but some Muslims are also fcuked up, denial will just make things worser mate.......

I'm willing to admit some of the suicide bombings in Iraq might even be planned, Western govs are no angels... but Muslims are no angels either, we do bad things and we can't blame others for highlighting them...

Terrorist organisations might even be supported/started by the Non-Muslims tro destroy us from within but then why are some Muslims so stupid to play into their hands?

Islam and Muslims will suffer the most because of our harkaten.

The victim mentality is not going to help Muslims one bit, we need to sort ourselves out and correct ppl's misconceptions as best we can..

Please, only Muslims to this day continue to blow themselves up, thinking they are true mujahideen.

And many Muslims also regard the mujahideen who bomb Shi'a marketplaces and behead Westerners as pious. Should I link you to a number of Muslim bloggers that support al-Qaeda while living in the West?

Re: How media influences us...

^But still in the case above Lajjo do have a point.

Re: How media influences us...

Aap ko wahi mili hai ya ilhaam huwa hai ke woh sab ke sab Musalman hain, khair regardless they are evil, don't pass it on to me, pass their blogs on to Scotland Yard or something (if they're based in UK), if they are Muslims then they've got a wrong understanding of Islam, the sooner Islam is cleansed of them the easier our lives will become.

Re: How media influences us...

History repeats itself...

The Jews decided that the sooner they were rid of Jesus, the easier their lives will become...Because Jesus was a terrorist to Romans and the the Jews were afraid of Romans...

So, instead of believing in all his miracles and standing beside them, they thought it'd be best to rid of this Jesus guy...They did (or at least tried)...It was because the elders of the Jews started a propaganda against Jesus to malign him and make him look like a terrorist...And everyone believed the lies told by the elders of the Jews...So they turned against him and offered him up for execution to the Romans...They thought by being rid of Jesus, the Romans would suddenly become nice and friendly with them...Instead the Romans turned their vengeance on the Jews and decimated entire towns and cities...

In the end their lives were destroyed...Because they thought that by ridding themselves of this terrorist called Jesus, they would save themselves...

Google up the term Masada to see what happened to those who opposed the Romans...

Re: How media influences us...
