How matrimonial sites work

Hello Everybody!

I request you people to please clear my confusion.
Recently I’ve joined a matrimonial site, the reason being ofcourse to search for life-partner.But I have no idea how these matrimonial sites actually work.I mean to say, there I found someone with whom I’ve started chatting for some two weeks, and we both are intending to take things further with each other.And we intend to meet up face-to-face in a week.
So, my confusion is, should we make our parents involved right away or we should make our parents involved after we get to know each other very well and become sure about each other?

Anyone has any experiences with matrimonial sites?How did it all work out for you?

I dont think matrimonial sites are a bad idea. Here is why:

If your family isnt well connected or wealthy or social or even huge for you to find a cousin to marry…then you’re basically single. If you work a demanding job, that just makes it worse because it leaves you with 0 time for meeting and dating someone.

I think with the right approach…its not a bad tool.

My suggestion is to get your parents involved from the get-go. If the man is serious about marriage and honest, he has nothing to fear and will have no issue speaking or meeting your family. He should inform his parents he is speaking to someone and so should you. It would be ideal if both parents spoke and at least introductions were made before you two met.

IF you dont, the chances of people meeting you for fun increase because alone you are just a girl…no one is standing behind you and he has no one to answer to.
