Matching can look good if done right. But no blue/purple/orange nail polish please. rabia, you are a good example of matching done right.

i guess had a red joda, lips, pouch n nails....... oooops! din know it'll look too bad. but its ok Alhumdulilah im happily married thts the main thing. ;)

The worst thing you can do is be toooooo matchy matchy in my opinion, everything is nice in proportions,
Makeup-i personally will not have eye makeup correlate with my outfit bc i feel it looks tacky, sometimes it works but for my day i will be not.
as for decor... its nice to have traces of colors for example, My wedding im planning on having a white theme and with a red dress i will be sure to stand out. I want just a dusting of red in the hall like scatterd rose petals on tables and a red runner. other than that i belive its gonna be to much.
Invitations are where you can be really creative, it doesnt have to match at all.
I myself have a peacock style theme for the cards with beautiful electric blues and jungle green.
with the formal wedding with colors of pure white and red and invites with natures most beautiful colors i am quite satisfied :)
