No, cuz we Pakistaniz be better looking and fair. :halo:
No, I don’t care. At this very moment, my mind only focuses on what is available out there for me. I don’t dream of settling for lower class - developing countries.
I’m hitting mauritius.

Re: How many would like to return
No, because I'm Pakistani, not Indian. Wouldn't mind visiting it though.
And no i wouldn't return to Paksitan (to live) either.
Re: How many would like to return
…so true lol :bhangra: …
Re: How many would like to return
maybe for a visit and maybe alone, the butchering of my family that took place by marauding thugs still haunts the elders of the family, and while they were born there it may be too much for them to go back even to this day.
Re: How many would like to return
My mother went back to Hyderabad earlier this year to see the Indian side of my family. She was really struck by just how much dirtier than Karachi Hyderabad was, and how there was even more poverty there.... she was distinctly unimpressed.
It may be a tech capital, but it still has some major issues.
Re: How many would like to return
I would love to visit my parents home near Hoshiarpur (iNdian Punjab) whenever I get chance.. i have heard so much about thye place from my family..
Re: How many would like to return
I visited India a few months back. I asked my grand father to come along with me (he spent the first 30-35 years of his life in India). However, he was totally dismissive of the idea.
I was surprised and asked how could he not wish to visit the place of his birth and childhood and youth. These are the times and the places to cherish. His response was kinda philosophical. He thought for a while and then said "I used to wish a bit previously but that died down with time. Plus I cant bear to rekindle the memories of those bloody and gory days, when our previously friend hindus and sikhs turned against us and went after our lives." He has numerous horror stories to tell from those days and I can totally understand his reluctance.
Similar was the case with my nana abbu who died three years back. To say that people from that generation do not like the hindus and sikhs is probably an understatement. Too many bad memories.

Re: How many would like to return
The old generation from Peshawer have all died, but some of their stories they told me are ingrained in my mind.
They are mostly happy stories, between Hindu's & muslims, British rule, large Haveli, Titles of Rai Sahib, Dancing girls in the Haveli, of saluting the Pakistan flag on Independence day.
If there had been no mass killings of Hindus & Sikhs there, I'm sure my family would have continued to stay there. And I would have been born there, as a Pakistani.
Peshawer - I'd have loved to live there...., I'll surely visit it. One day.
Re: How many would like to return
LOL hahahaha
Re: How many would like to return
India looks do filthy and polluted who would want to visit it?
Not to mention the extreme poverty which would just be heartwrenching.
I know Pakistan is bad but in India there is a bigger gap between the rich and the poor and poverty is far worse.

They are involving themselves in things which are not for third world countries to involve themselves in and their young ones are starving, sad.
