I really like the name Anabiyah for my daughter. I actually really liked it for its meaning “Allah say ruju karnay wali” please tell me how many of you like the sound of it. I have discussed it with couple of good friends and hubby none of them dislike the name they thought its cute but no one was really excited about it either.
So please tell me if you guys think its a nice and cute name.

Re: How many votes for this name
I like that name but I want to pick a name that others will like too. I have a long way to go so I have a ton of time to research and pick names.
Re: How many votes for this name
How would you pronounce it?
Re: How many votes for this name
Beautiful name. Comes from anbiya right?
Re: How many votes for this name
I like the name and its meaning.
We really liked a name for our daughter but then a couple of close relatives were not so excited about the name so we decided to use another name. Now I regret not using our first choice. Its not the end of the world but I wish we had gone with our first choice.
Since you have lots of time, keep looking for names you and husband both like. Do not think too much of what others think about it.

Re: How many votes for this name
A lot of my relatives didn’t like the name we gave our daughter. It broke my heart a little cause we were so excited and all. Now that she’s older I can’t imagine her having any other name than the one we gave her. It suits her so much.
This time around I made sure I didn’t tell those relatives what we are thinking of naming the baby … I don’t need their opinions. As long as me and my husband like it, no one else has a say.
Re: How many votes for this name
the word is Enaabiyah and it means “ruj’u karne waali” but NOT necessarily with Allah!
it’s pronounced as Ena bi yah
it’s written like this:

I like it.
Also it can shortened to Ana if people struggle with pronouncing it (like the white school teacher).
Re: How many votes for this name
Exactly ! I dont understand why baby’s name is everyone’s business. I mean if a very close friend/sibling who has always given honest/direct opinion says something, I understand. If that is not the case then please do not go ahead and tell the parents their choice is not cool or good. If you do not like the name, keep it to yourself.
Re: How many votes for this name
Yup! I mean her grandparents even loved it. I’m talking about random aunties … door ke rishtedaar etc lol
Re: How many votes for this name
A friend named her baby Anabia (with that spelling), and she said it means a doorway to Jannat?
But it is a lovely name

Re: How many votes for this name
You should name the baby whatever you and your husband wish. I personally am not keen on the above name, but then, that’s just me. ![]()

Re: How many votes for this name
this is what I hav heard abt this name!
Re: How many votes for this name
It’s a word from Quran. If you go to surah luqman ayat no 15 you will see te word anab. Alif have zayr and humza which make the sound “Aa”. Unless Enabiyah means something else I am quite posditive that the correct pronunciation is Anabiyah.
