oh, in Canada, you have to pay up the ticket within 2 weeks if you do NOT challenge the issuance of the traffic violation ticket in court. after the verdict is entered against the defendant [abstaining from appearing in court suffices guilt verdict], he has to pay within 30 days…if NOT then the driver’s license can be suspended anytime after the expiration of the 30-day period.
