in November, i'll have **5 years of CLEAN driving record*...i got a *speeding ticket 5 years ****ago. i was doing 137 km/h in 100 km/h zone. i paid $250 in fines :(

if you choose NOT to pay, your Driver's License may be suspended or your car renewal sticker may NOT be issued...Suspension of Driver's License is more likely though!!! :)

i m talking about court proceedings.
speeding violation always requires to appear in court. if one does not appear, his/her DL could be suspended.

oh, in Canada, you have to pay up the ticket within 2 weeks if you do NOT challenge the issuance of the traffic violation ticket in court. after the verdict is entered against the defendant [abstaining from appearing in court suffices guilt verdict], he has to pay within 30 days...if NOT then the driver's license can be suspended anytime after the expiration of the 30-day period.

acha. in us, speeding ticket usually sucks because one can not pay without appearing court. as far as i know.

But Rickshaw racing cross country is still the funniest way to break a lot of rules… you havent lived until you crash a rickshaw into a communal fountain.
