I didn’t go to jail :grumpy: That’s an interesting story as well.

When I got my first ticket (overspeed), I was 16, a juvinelle (Sp?). But when I had the court date, I had turned 17 and became an “adult”. My paperwork was in juvinelle court and then it got transferred to regular court. The attorney I had hired got the notice and said he’ll take care of it, but he didn’t. Since he didn’t show up in the court nor did I, the court issued my arrest warrents and I never got any warning from court in the mail as well.

On one fine evening, I was with my family when cops showed up at our house asking for me. I said what’s up? They said you are under arrest. You have the right to remain silence and all that crap. I was like what? Why? :eek: Didn’t even let me change my clothes or get my cell phone :teary1: Since I didn’t resist, they treated me nicely and just asked me to sit in the car and took me to the police station. My dad came to the station after me, spoke to the judge, and she said let him go and ask him to show up in court tomorrow. So they let me go after a couple of hours and I went to court the next day.

Judge was impressed with my clean record as well as academic achievements, so she forgave the ticket and told me to be carefull and drive slow in the future :smooth:

ive got a crap load of parking violations from uni :smiley:

i got pulled over once by the officer and i started crying…he let me go :blush:

Only 2.
One speeding for going 85 in a 65 zone.

The other for running a red light.
(I had no intentions though, it just didn’t stay yellow long enough). :snooty:
