How many States in the USA....?

Its a bit hypocritical with the US immigration preventing Mexican people from getting into the US into states such as Texas and California since it belonged to Mexico in the first place is'nt it!

And the mythical Palestine undoubtedly belongs to the Jews! I don't see a big rush by the current occupants to return the property to it's rightful historical owners!

Or Pakistan back to India....

Guys, invite back Julius Caesar and be done with it. Ok?

Back to US... and the states who will float away given an opportunity. California can be a self-sustaining state. Maybe even New York. Not sure about the rest.

^ how do you figure, because of a lack of diversity in economy and agriculture? If we look at GDP (or GSP), there are at least 10 states with larger economies than that of Pakistan and none of them with anywhere near the population to sustain.

Yup yup yup. Name 'em. Thats the whole point.

State - GSP
California - $1,359,265
New York - $826,488
Texas - $763,874
Florida - $491,488
Illinois - $475,541
Penn - $408,373
Ohio - $373,708
NJersey - $365,388
Michigan - $320,470
Georgia - $299,874

The Christians are trying to take South Carolina.

Burnell, 28, is one of the founders of ChristianExodus.org, a group that hopes to gather conservative Christians for a series of mass moves to South Carolina. The goal is to bring enough voters to the state to establish a government based on the Ten Commandments and conservative Christian values.

And if the federal government doesn’t like it, Burnell said he and the other members of the board have not ruled out the possibility of the state seceding from the United States.
