i dont think its a threat .. its more of a depressive state .. always crying saying they wished god would give them death cuz theyr heart is not listening to their mind

I agree. That’s why I would never marry someone who is so unstable emotionally. In my opinion, a man in this state of mind is in no position to take on the responsiblities of a husband and possibly father. He needs to seek psychiatric treatment first and get his depression under control.

But at the end…for me persoanlly…any type of “I’ll die or hurt myself if you don’t marry me” does not work. You can call it a threat or something else…but either way, its difficult for me to have respect for someone whose entire existance depends solely on me.
