Since thats not possible, I would like it to be his and my family only, maybe a couple of close friends on an exotic island :love: But thats not gonna happen either so i am gonna settle for the close family friends. Although I have noticed nowadays its like an annoying trend to invite around 500-1500 people, like anyone you have ever said “hi” to has to come. So how many people did or will come to your wedding?

Buncha fat old aunties gossiping about how moti/badmash/poor/rich wahtever hte bride is, stupid people throwing salan on the floor for NO REASON, mitti all over, crappy food etc.. :no:
If it’s here in NYC 
i’m deff inviting all my friends from college [15 or so], a few guppies and of course my xtended family.. if my cousins don’t come, well they can go fk themselves

thats how many my sister had at her wedding. it's quite reasonable and you can still keep it organized.

My brother’s wedding was VERY sudden, in only one day advance, alllll our relatives who live here, showed up to the nikkah. Our living room was full, it was approximately 60 something people 
The valima was about 100 coz we invited other guests, and her grandparents and aunt came too [at the nikkah, only her mom came].
I think it’d be around 150 just from my side alone :halo:

they normally had 200-300 cards for my cousins/relatives marriages....mine is likely to be the same as mostly it was relatives. im not fussed....however many my parents want to invite they can..on top of that my friends too and his family/friends. as long as the hall is big enough to accomadate everyone properly, theres no problem :)

Yeah they are, listening to everyones nakhray (noo have it here, wear this, blahbla) but I’d still be pissed if they didnt’ come .

i really wish that i could get away with just inviting my immediate family and his immediate family and no one else. I would love to have a nice intimate wedding. too bad that wont happen

I'd say my wedding prolly have at least 300 people.
So much fun @ my sisters wedding, had at least 250 people attending, 2 bad @ my wedding i won't be able to have 2 much fun.
