How many Pakistanis are in UK?

I’m asking becoz nearly every Brit I have met tells me about having a lot of Pakistani immigrants in their cities and that gives me an impression that the country is flooded with Pakistanis. Also there is a general feeling that I get from those people and news sources that Pakistan based people are leading in crime and extremism. I want to ask from those living in UK much is that true? Does anyone know the ratio of Pakistanis compared to other immigrants like Chinese/Indians?

I'm not from UK but wont it depend which area in UK you are checking in? For example in Canada, Mississauga is a hub of Pakistanis but as you go towards west, not so much.

looks like there are more from Hindustan, that two a little more than 2%

comparing it to the population who sit in Jails in USA are 2.4 million !

Now that is a crime statistic if you talking statistics!

Thanks Obamay! I wonder how Pakistanis gain such prominence. Even Pakistanis who travel to UK tell back home that the country is full of Pakistanis.

It's because they all live in the same areas, like southall, green street and tooting, in london are full of pakistans and Asians, you could count the gorey on you hands. There are loads in some parts of manchester, Birmingham and Bradford too but I think that's the main parts, they tend to live in the same areas that's why it seems like there are loads.

Where I am up north the nearest pakistani to me is about 3 miles away, the mosque is 10 miles away.

How many Pakistanis are in UK?

Im from birmingham and theres a massive pakistani community.. I moved to leicester after marriage (now back in brum woo hoo) and the pakistanis are a minority. The city is mainly hindus/sikhs/muslims from india.

It really does vary and depend where you go. Its a slight exaggeration to say they are everywhere lol!

Oh my gosh! I used to live in Leicester and have distant relative in Birmingham.
