I do it a lot of times. But if I realize I was being a jerk, I only admit it to myself and make a resolution to fix it in future. Because through experience I have learnt that if you go and admit to other people, they never react kindly. Most are downright ungracious, and besides a lot of people adopt this smug attitude which is very annoying.

I fully know when i am being a jerk in most cases, in some cases i apologize to the person noting that I know I am being a jerk and we should just talk later when I am less jerky, in some cases i stay being a jerk on person because the person deserves it and was not listening to reason, and in some cases I don't realize I was being a jerk or was not being a jerk but was perceived as such.

i know ...and always know when i am being a jerk ...but havent reached the stage where i admit it to others:|...i try to be nice to them afterwards ...if that counts as an apology:$....
