I passed 2nd time. The first time they failed me because i didnt stop to let a horse pass.
Ahh, the good thing about pakistan is that we can drive 5 cm away from a horse and its no problem. Horses are sensitive in the uk :(

Took me years to pass. 3 years, but I went off to University which made is to difficult.

To date it is still the biggest achievement for me, even more so than getting my degree.

I know :hinna: my driving instructor could have retired with the amount I paid him over the course of those years. On top of that money for test like woah:eek:

lol...that job pays good money, but damn boring... my instructor was good, he stuck his fingers up at anyone he was driving too close behind me who were trying to put me off

:@: My instructor..erm actually which one. I ended up having four.

1- Retired 7 weeks into my first ever lessons. He could have told me that before I booked with him

2- Was always late and cut my lessons short. Rip off merchant. Only had 4 lessons with him

3- Acted too pally. Stuck with him for 2 year. He was too interested in my personal life and not helping me in driving:smack: He also was abusive on several occasions.

4- Best instructor I had. I passed first time with him:AID: He was friendly, encouraging and was interested in helping his students to pass more than making money.

I guess it is boring but it pays well:@:

After completion of My Education and on start of My first Job , I first Bought Car for me , then Learned Driving (May be unbelievable for you) , But you know it was in Lawless area of FATA(Federally Administered Trible Areas, Pakistan), and possesed no Driving Licence.

But here in UAE , I got it in Second attempt.

I think one of the hardest things is to pass your driving test in the UK! I really believe that it is all down to pure luck!

You guys won't believe this and my sister isn't the only victim, but she passed when she had her 16th test. She even had reporters waiting for her at the test centres! We knew something was fishy fishy as Appa was such a good driver. She didn't even get nervous! Got some private investigators involved and we took DSA to court and they gave us an out-of-court settlement. Long story but there was a lot of fraud involved and you can't imagine what it did to my sister! Can you imagine all the money we spend on driving lessons and tests before and what it was doing to my sister mentally? Shockingly, she wasn't the only victim in this. If you are not passing and have failed more than 6 times, my advice is phone BSM and inform them or phone DSA?

Last year there was a girl from south-east London who passed on her 26th go. She was also a victim. There are psycho examiners out there, who get thrills out of failing students all in the name of fun!

I passed first time and would recommend BSM to everyone!
