The thread I was looking for was when a guppy told us about how his brother had taken bayah with a scholar from this region, but I may be confusing this with al-Mashishiya but I think it was al-Boutchichiya.

In Arabic Meem and Ba are interchangeable with different dialects so that makes it even more confusing.
