How many of you go to female only gyms?

I tried to get a membership to a Ballys out here again but was stopped by the parental forces…they do not want me to go to a co-ed gym. :naraz:

Does anyone else have the same issue?

I go to co-ed gym because its cheaper- that's what happens when you become a chronic student :)

I would REALLY like to go to a female only gym but I don't think that'd happen anytime soon :( why would you not want to go to a female only gym?! Or am i reading this completely wrong?

^ Maybe cz the coed gym is offering better deal and/or more convenient location.

I go to a women only one..it's pretty common in middle east.

i go to one which is both coed with ladies separate area but fitness classes(yoga, pilate, weight lifting, biking etc) they offer r mixed. do u hav spa lady in usa? its ladies only. but i like mine way better

i have a treadmill at the place where i live, don't need to a gym

Oh really that's a first time I am hearing this! hmmm then join an all women?
and no i had never dealth with such issues besides having a curfew, but my parents are really happy if the kids are happy :)

I do miss my uni's co-ed gym :( It made getting up and going to the gym so much easier :D

my sister and cousin both went to an all female gym..they loved it!

Yes, you can run 10 miles as long as your'e behind the right person :D

i would prefer a ladies only gym but there are none in my area. I don't care either way. I am there to work out. Most workout classes are 95% female anyway.

My SO and I both go to a co-ed gym. Our personal trainer is a guy. I didn’t ask my parents for permission before I joined the gym. Although to be honest, I don’t think my parents would have an issue with it. My parents know I go to a gym. They’ve never asked me if it was a “female only” gym.

I’ve never felt uncomfortable at the co-ed gym. I go meet my trainer, and the entire time I’m focused on my work-out. I don’t talk to anyone other than my trainer.

I go to a women's only gym. They have 3 locations in the city, and it's about a 15 min drive to the closest one to me, which can be a pain sometime -- especially on days when you have no motivation to go.

we got pure fitness for women.... :d ...
