If its of an endangered specie then I can understand, but do we have issues with leather boots and leather wallets? Then why with fur.

For some reason, the fur gives me more of the creeps than the leather. Maybe it's because the leather is painted and embellished and what have you....so (visually speaking) you don't think of it coming from Bessie the cow. But the fur..visually and texturally looks/feels like fur..and makes me feel more uneasy.

yes, for me leather or fur or any animal products r hell no.

and for hey if u dont have a problem with leather so y fur question? i think ppl think leather is fine because if comes from the sources that are already being killed for food like (to qoute RV here) betsey the cow or ingrid the sheep :D, and is basically a bi-product so ur not killing animals JUST for their skin. fur usually comes from animals we dont consume so its definitley coming from a fur farm and the animals r being killed just for thier skin a bit cruel no?

but fur farm or road kill for me its a bit strange to wear dead things.

If the animal isn't endangered, or killed in a cruel way, I don't really care.

I think wearing fur is tacky anyways. Just screams "big pimpin" and unless your nickname is Hov, you should never be dressing like that.

I kinda have mixed feelings about it.. I have some vintage fur and some small bits and pieces but I can’t bring myself to wear them.. My dog looks at me with his big eyes and I feel so much guilt I can’t do it and then I curse myself for having it in the first place :teary1:

How freaky are those old-fashioned fox stoles that have the head still attached.. How anyone can wear those and not feel bad is beyond me..
