OMG...this really happens in pak........
i've been ther only once in my lifetime....when i was 4& a half..i don't remember a thing.........never really liked pak....but since i joined GS....i've been nagging mom & dad to take to pak for a visit........
but dad keeps saying "tum wahaan bardasht naheen ker paaogee.......tumhaarey itney nakhray jo hain...."
&..."wahaan key haalaat itney achey naheen".............

i wouldn’t live in pakistan. i’ve spent 13 summers there, and i really do not wish to go back there, now that i’m all grown up. the place is corrupt. there is no such thing as justice. hand out a bribe, and justice will do a dance for you. 
thus, there is really no opportunity to live a content life. having been born and raised in a different country, my habit of mind could never fit into a pakistani society.
yes, my parents want to go back and live there, and i can understand why. but its not the place for me.

Actually lately i been thinking abt how kids in Pak are a tad tougher htan the kids here.. heatlhwsie anwyay, ive never heard a kid in Pak wh had food allergies.. none of this peanut/lactose intolerant/etc.. i think its coz theres so much gund around that their immune systems get really tough

I can't really say whether I wana go back to live or not. I HAD a dream of after bcoming a doc go back to pak and serve the poor and in need people. But now I can't really say anything. I am not too desperate to go back nor have any kind of hatred against Pakistan...so I wil let the time decide for me :)

Its kind a difficult for me since I was not even born nor raised in Pak. I dont hate the country and I never said I wil not go there ever..who knows when time comes I might end up practising for the rest of my life there…who knows and NO I am not saying this b/c I love america ..there are other reasons too..

I am not behiss..I do sometimes think about going back and introduce the technology that they use to teach us over here..but then it will demand a huge amount of time and devotion.. I am not saying that I WILLL def do it b/c I know its not that easy. But yes I do pray to Allah that if I am capable of it then help me to achieve it

I lived in Pakistan for almost one year (last year) and I drove in almost all punjab and what I have realised, if you are in a car no matter if its a Mehran Police doesn’t bother stopping you. Police doesn’t bother with people
If you are in a Honda, Toyota or any other similar (big according to pk standards) car.
If you are in Mehran (or smaller car) but wearing decent clothes etc.
OR
They only annoy people on motobikes. So unless it was “sitam zarifi” only for you (if u were in the car), otherwise I am sure u were on a motorbike when stopped by the police.

Bhai saab, they would stop your car too if you if a girl is sitting next to you and you look like a middle classia …
they will ask you for ‘nikah nama’ but in reply you should never say that she is your wife or cousin or someithing

It’s partially cuz the water is filthy in a lot of the areas. You either develop a really strong immune system to survive, or else.

haha...no....how can someone who just arrived in Pakistan (from US with luggage) can go on a motorcycle with his uncle*s* and the driver?
I had to bribe in order to leave, otherwise I would be spending the night in the jail, along with the driver and my uncles.
