How many of u have read Quran and thought over it urself

AoA

Actually i have two questions. firstly how many of u have read the translations of the Quran.

Secondly how many of u have thought over different verses of the quran and did u find something new and original.?

if i remember correctly somebody asked Hazrat Umer (RA) that how many times he has read the Quran. and He replied although i have read it many times but for the last 10 years i m studying Surah Bakr ( which is the first one).

Actually i m simple student getting computer educations.. so i just started it one day sometime ago to atleast get to know all the topics present in the Quran.. and after reading it i found couple of verses with some very new meanings.. i mean i never read that explanation of those verses before… But they did answered quite a few intriguing questions in my mind. like Why good Muslim ruler never had a long ruling time and not good ones rule for decades. ? Why we have so few and far away good balanced muslim rulers.? Why the Khulfa’s are only 4.? why the initial islamic era didnot extend much beyound 30 years.?
Why the islam has so many factions.? Why islam has all those ups and downs.? and why in the 800+ years of rule in Spain and Subcontinent we don’t find shining rulers..?
i think i got the answer of many such question after only first translation.. and they have truly changed my way of thinking .. i don’t find the absence of leadership from Muslim world in todays era as something bad or astonishing or depressing..

Although many good discussion have been done on the forum but very very few have the originality of the view .. they were more like copy paste from different sites. nothing of the personal understanding of the Quran. secondly many ppl express their views, they were shallow due to lack of knowledge and understanding of the teaching rather lack of honesty in understanding Islam and Quran.

It's been a day since this was posted, so I think it's fair to ask now..

Did you get your answer?

Sure, and important thing is that reading the quran by keeping it in ur hand and sitting solely infront of it is totally different than reading the quranic posts and having discussion on the boards.. and above all it does have a profound effect on u in lots of undescribeable ways.
