in the first few days and then find that u never ever talk to them again apart from the odd embarassed hello,for the duration of ur course.
mainly because the freinds u make in the 2nd./3rd week remain ur friends forever???

2nd year: and got lots. But usually stick with small group (8-12 ppl) alot. and still making new f’nds.

haha smile, i know basically everyone since i started.
- 25 from my program
- 15 introduced by friends (various programs)
- 5 from HS
- rest arabs (got to know them last semester, and now the number is increasing)

never been to college in my life...so cann't answer your question..xtremely shorry about that....I wish I could go to schoolaay now...with my good old takhtee and saleeti..I miss my first day in school..I miss my all good n decent friends

i am almost done organizing the course tho. But it is gona be abit weird since some people already know alot more and some are starters.

so why don't we divide it into two different groups. beginners, and intermediaries. that way the guppies that know some arabic won't feel like it's a waste of their time.
for the prof. i dunno, that's gonna be a hard one, huh? what if we put an ad for a job position for an arabic teacher..?

The first person who appears friendly is most likely to become a short-term buddy at first, but later on as you get to know more people, you find yourself to be more compatible with certain people. Seniority or taking into account how long you've known a person is no longer a consideration and you just start hanging out with your own small/huge group in which you fit well.
